For a very long time, I’ve been wondering, why do we spend our lives doing jobs we don’t like at all? Why are we working day after day, just to earn enough to barely survive? What’s the point of it all? Were we born just to work? Animals don’t work against their will, except those exploited by humans. We’ve existed for over 50,000 years. Why couldn’t we find a different way of living? Is artificial intelligence going to change the way we live? I think it's time we accept that AI is certainly going to take over jobs. There aren't two ways about it. If you don't think so, ask yourself, can AI do a significant portion of your job, if not the whole job? If the answer is yes, that's enough. AI may not totally eliminate humans from the workforce, but it will significantly reduce the number of people needed to do majority of the jobs. That's inevitable. Hindu scriptures mention advanced beings, what we call Gods, and the technologies they brought: Vimanas (spaceship-like flying crafts), sophisticated weapons like the Brahmastra, concepts of spacetime, consciousness, and much more. Does this mean we ancient Hindus were technologically advanced and that all the knowledge and remnants of that technology were lost due to a massive natural calamity? Being a Hindu myself, it gives me pride and comfort to believe that we had advanced technology thousands of years ago. But being a rational human being, it's hard to digest those theories. I absolutely believe we had great knowledge about ourselves and how to live life efficiently. It’s also possible that these stories were exaggerated to teach us life lessons, because we were too naive (and still are) to take direct lessons unless they are sold as stories involving higher energies.
