Are we part of a humongous organism?
I have been thinking a lot these days about our purpose in this universe. We are so insignificant in size in the grand scheme of the universe. I wonder if we are too prideful to even think that our existence has a meaning. It suddenly struck me, what if we are a tiny part of a massive organism? Of course, I’m not a scientist who can prove it with a mathematical equation, nor a baba with a massive following who can create a baseless theory and still get away with it. But it gave me psychological comfort, and it's a self-developed theory that I call the Microrganism Theory. Let me explain. The universe is unimaginably massive. To get a perspective, there are trillions of cosmic objects like our Earth in just the Milky Way galaxy, and there are in turn trillions of galaxies in the observable universe.
