Should you marry the person you love?

Not even in my wildest imagination did I ever think that I would love someone. As someone who never loved oneself, I never really thought that I could love someone else. But, miracles happen. That's the magic of life. They say it's too difficult, almost impossible, to find someone you truly love. Miraculously, you may find the love of your life. It's not easy, but possible. The most difficult part I think is to not give up on love. Love is enough to bring two people together, but love isn't enough to live together. It takes strength. It takes courage. It takes sacrifices. It takes trust. But, is it worth it to use all your strength and courageously fight for someone you trust and love while sacrificing everything you have? Can you just let that person go with all the love intact? The real question is should you marry the person you love?

The word love is used so loosely that nobody ever believes in it anymore. Our lives have become so mechanical and materialistic that we have no place for love anymore in our minds, hearts and lives. You use your heart to fall in love and you use your mind when it comes to marry the person you love. When you think with you mind, you can't feel with your heart. Your mind which always seeks security will never allow you to follow your heart. After all, your heart doesn't know to calculate, but just knows to sacrifice everything for that it believes in.

A heart that is capable of love is sensible. Sensible for not just the person you love, sensible for the people that love you. It's funny that the people who love you sometimes can't show the same love towards someone that you love. 

Then, you have to decide whether you should sacrifice the people that love you for the person you love, or to sacrifice the person you love for the people that love you. It's a difficult situation. The heart always wants what it loves, but the mind always wants that which gives it security, and love from people gives it immense security. 

It's for oneself to decide as to follow the heart or to listen to the mind. Both are right in their own ways. It's just that, what you choose defines the person you are.
