Why shouldn't you be worried about death?
If there is something we never want to talk about, it's death. We all know that death is inevitable, but why are we so frightened to talk about it? Why is it so hard for us to accept death? Are we actually worried about losing life or something else?
You have done so many good deeds in your life, and have helped so many people. Likewise there are others who hurt others and live happy lives, but all our actions good or bad should pay off right? If not in this life atleast in your next life. That's why we want to believe in karma. Some people believe in life after death and reincarnation too.
I may sound heartless but I think, death is the greatest gift to mankind. Death shouldn't be mourned but celebrated just like birth. The dead man is free of everything. He is at eternal peace. When someone you know dies, don't feel bad for them. Feel bad for yourself if you didn't give love when they were alive, and most importantly, see if you can help the people that were dependent on them. That's empathy and that is what a dead man would want.
You know what's more beautiful than death? To die to everything that's holding you back in life. Your fears, worries, jealousy, pride, shame, anger, anxieties and the list goes on.
We don't have control over death and don't know what happens after death. But, we can choose how to live in this moment, and know for sure that we suffer if we don't overcome the negative emotions that stop us from living our life fully.
It's not death we should be worried about, but not being able to live fully while we are alive.
